The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way.
Psalm 37:23, NKJV
Right on Schedulwe’re grateful that God is directing our steps, but the truth is that God is ordering our steps according to His purpose. God will put us into situations and times of testing and times of waiting that we can’t get out of. He also orders our steps into seasons of favor and seasons of sudden increase. You may be in a waiting period. You’ve been doing the right thing for a long time, being patient, keeping a good attitude. God is saying, “Your about to see a suddenly. You’re going to come into a season of growth and abundant fruit.” He’s going to put you at the right place at the right time and thrust you to a new level. Because He orders your steps, it’s not random. He’s precise. He’s detailed.
What you’re believing for may be taking longer than you thought. Quit being frustrated because it’s not happening as fast as you would like. You’re right on schedule, your steps are being ordered. It’s just a matter of time before you see what God has been doing behind the scenes.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You purposefully order my steps in the way that is best for me. Thank You for Your strength in the testing times and the expectancy that at any moment You can turn things around into a new season of abundance. Whether You do it gradually or suddenly, I will rest in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
