It’s by Grace

IGMA Team, many people are talented and have had God’s favor, but they get distracted by what someone says negatively about them, bitter over a wrong, and try to prove they are not what was said. Because they didn’t let go of an offense, they become defensive, harsh, and critical. If you hold on to an offense, it will begin to change who you are. But if you’re like the apostle Paul and know who God has made you to be by His grace, you are free to walk away from the insults and disrespect. You release the negative, walk by what God has done in your spirit, and keep moving forward.

God will never let you face situations that are too much for you to handle. The next time that you’re tempted to get upset, offended, and pay someone back, try a different approach. “I can handle this. I have the grace for where I am. I’m going to stay cool, remain calm, and let God fight my battles.” When you do that, you’ll see His blessing, His favor, and His goodness on your life.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that my life is in Your hands—not just my strengths and gifts, but my weaknesses and shortcomings. Thank You that by Your grace I am what I am today, and I’m on the way to where You’re taking me. Help me to live free and unoffended. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
