Thank you for your interest in our IGMA, Inc., Certified Good Deeds Scholarship initiative. Please understand our ability to present annual scholarships is always contingent on our funds received & earmarked for scholarships each year. 

2021: The Annual Educational Scholarship Application is located on our website.  The deadline for submission is November 20, 2021, at 11:59 pm.  The winner(s) will be notified via email on December 8, 2020.  In our efforts to continue making a positive difference in the community we will award six (6), $500 scholarships to selected deserving graduating High School Seniors or have recently (in the last year) graduated from a high school in the Cobb, Cherokee, Carroll,  Clayton, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Newton, or Spaulding, County School District

(Note: UNDERGRADUATE college students (age: 17-27) currently enrolled in college in our aforementioned counties may also apply.

2021:  IGMA established a presence in the Jacksonville, FL area to partner with other nonprofits to carry out our mission of empowering others.  So far we have co-hosted community service initiatives that have brought greater awareness to youth and homeless concerns.  More specifically, we have co-hosted a Juneteeth Awareness "Movie" in the Circle event, To-Go-Tuesday helping feed the homeless veterans and indigent people in downtown Jacksonville, FL, and currently planning a Senior Sailors initiative to bring "Women together for an Evening Under The Stars (Movie & Meal after Dark).

2017: The Annual Educational Scholarship Application will be available for processing and award considerations in October - November 2017.  The deadline for submission is November 15, 2017, at 11:59 pm.  The winner(s) will be notified via email on December 3, 2017.  In our efforts to continue making a positive difference in the community we will award six, $500 scholarships to select deserving Georgia learners in our service areas (Clayton, Cherokee, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett or Hall County School Districts).

 

2016: Annual Educational Scholarship Application available for processing and award considerations in mid-October 2016.  The deadline for submission is November 15, 2016, at 11:59 pm.  The winner(s) will be notified via email on December 3 , 2016.  In our efforts to continue making a positive difference in the community we will award six, $500 scholarships to select deserving Georgia learners in our service areas (Clayton, Cherokee, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett or Hall County School Districts).

2015:  No Local Annual Educational Scholarship Applications were processed in order to establish our $10,000,00 William Donald Paul, II "Stop The Violence" Endowment Scholarship at Alabama State University (ASU). 

2014:  Annual Educational Scholarship Application will be available for processing an award consideration in October 2014.  The deadline for submission is November 11, 2014, at 11:59 pm.  The winner(s) will be notified via email on December 3 , 2014.  In our efforts to continue making a positive difference in the community we will award six, $500 scholarships to deserving Georgia learners.

2013:  Annual Educational Scholarship Application will be available for processing an award consideration in October.  The deadline for submission is November 15, 2013, at 11:59 pm.  The winner(s) will be notified via email on November 27, 2013.  In our efforts to continue making a positive difference in the community we will offer six, $500 scholarships to deserving Georgia learners.

The award recipients were:  Brittany Osborne, Drusilla Gibbs, and Allan Osborne, II.

2012:  The scholarship recipients were:  Michael Morris, Jazmyn Middleton, and Jenay Simmons.





**IGMA Inc.  Board members and affiliated family members are not eligible to apply for our IGMA, Inc Certified Good Deeds scholarships.
