Rise Up

IGMA Team, sometimes when we’ve fallen into sin and are down on ourselves, we’re waiting for God to do something for us when He’s waiting for us to say, “I will rise again. I’m not going to go through life beating myself up, living condemned. Yes, I’ve done wrong, but I know I’m forgiven. I know I’ve been redeemed.” Those mistakes you made didn’t cancel your destiny. Quit listening to the accuser who will remind you of everything you’ve done wrong. Don’t sit around feeling discouraged and defeated, thinking about all the mistakes you’ve made. God has already forgiven you. Now forgive yourself and move on.

It’s time to rise up and get your fire back, get your passion back. Nothing you’ve done is too much for the mercy of God. He knew every mistake you would ever make. He’s already taken into account your wrong turns. He has a plan even for the times when you’ve missed it. Now rise up, and the chains of condemnation that try to hold you back will be broken. You can still become who you were created to be.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You are the Most High God, and because You have redeemed me, I know that I am forgiven. Help me when I fall to never stay down in discouragement and condemnation. I declare that I will rise up, get my passion back, and defeat the enemy. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
