Bible Scripture Bible Verse and Prayer.

Hello greetings everyone!🤗🤩

Today's Scripture

“If you obey the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways…all the nations of the world will see that you are a people claimed by the Lord, and they will stand in awe of you.”

Deuteronomy 28:9–10, NLT

Stand in Awe

, in Acts 28, when the apostle Paul was shipwrecked on the island of Malta, a poisonous snake bit his hand. The islanders knew that in a few minutes, he should swell up and drop dead. Paul just shook it off and went about his business. It didn’t affect him. The natives were so in awe that they thought he was a god. How could that venom not kill him? That’s the blessing of God. When we honor God and walk in His ways, part of His promised blessing is protection. It’s God pushing back darkness, keeping you from evil, angels guarding you, defending you.

It says in Exodus that when God sent the plague of a huge hailstorm on Egypt, wiping out people, animals, crops, and ruining houses, the only place without hail was the land where the Israelites lived. That’s the blessing. It’s not on the land. It’s not on the position. The blessing is on you. The more you recognize it, the more peaceful you’re going to live, the more faith you’re going to have, and the more favor you’re going to see.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that no matter what the problem or obstacle, it will not stop Your purpose for my life. Thank You that when I honor You, Your blessing on me provides a hedge of protection around me. I am going to live at peace, knowing that You are guarding and defending me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Have a blessed and thankful Thursday!✝️🦋🥰🙏🏾
